How can we select the right man for the job when nobody can predict change! Who predicted the current era of global  transformation after all?

This is not due to a lack of advice, predictions, and expert opinions.

Indeed we might not be able to predict change today, but we all have had the feeling  “I have been there before…

Is there a pattern?

Wise leaders see patterns where others don’t and are good at selectively using these.

Yet, science is an understanding of the patterns of nature. Therefore, science could also help us understand the patterns of change and under which circumstances they would apply.

What are these patterns when it comes to organization and leadership?

This presentation is about “leadership roles and organizational development stages inspired by the pattern of natural emergence”“Natural emergence” refers to “nature’s protocol of organizational emergence”, which, frankly, refers to the pattern of rise and decline.

Of course we don’t like the idea that the rise of organizations is eventually followed by their decline. But we know, deep inside, that this is reality unfolding. Leadership is not just a matter of managing growth, but it is also a matter of reinventing organizations. Leadership simply cannot prevent decline when it occurs.

Therefore, leadership is also about using a time of decline to prepare for revival and to help people anticipate and deal with the decline with minimal social consequences.

This presentation will touch upon the Why, How and What of a “new paradigm”…

Why:

To help leaders improve fundamentally how society and organizations function.

How:

By using nature’s 4-stage pattern of emergence as a universal template of development and leadership.

What:

An approach that enables leaders, HR professionals and consultants to make collective sense of their organization and improve the timing of leadership and strategy.
