UN Global Compact Network Conference, Oct. 29, 2010

On October 29, 2010, there is a conference in Brussels on European trends in Corporate Social Responsibility development, co-organized by the Belgian Foreign Affairs and Development Corporation, UNDP, and the Global Compact Network of Belgium. Instituted ten years ago, it is a strategic policy initiative for businesses .that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. 8,000 organizations, including 5,300 businesses in 130 countries report annually on progress made.
