Mindful Leadership Program – 3 days with Marjan Abadie & Stephane Faure in Kortenberg

The way I pay attention, the way opportunities emerge.

Connect the fundamental source of leadership

Just as we understand that there are innate capacities of our bodies that can be trained to make us more resilient, flexible and stronger, we now know from neuroscience research that there is universal training we can experience that can cultivate and strengthen our mind’s capacity.

Mindful Leadership training is fitness for the mind.

With dedication and practice, you can transform yourself and your organization.

The mindful leadership course is an experiential training based on personal practice of meditation, reflection, and other contemplative practices in one purpose, the development of four fundamental qualities of leading and living with excellence.

This course is specifically designed to help you to integrate the mindful leadership practices into your daily life one step after another. You’ll learn to:
– Focus Creative Mind
– Focus and calm the flow of your mental to cultivate mental and physical resilience.
– Allow space for creative solutions by becoming more comfortable with uncertainty.
– Improve ability to make choices and decisions linked with values and wholeness.

– Adapt the concept of leadership in a context of instability and lack of visibility.

Mindfulness for organizations helps leaders and decision makers in four fields or four steps.

First, focusing. People now days have to deal with a huge amount of information, mail, etc. Attention is scattering, aptitude to focus is also decreasing. Attention allows us to know the world, a mind focused help to get clarity and stability.

A focused mind is not enough to support leaders and decision makers. Mindfulness helps to sense. Sensing is the second field. It’s the ability to go beyond automatisms and connects us with a deep space of inspiration and intuition. There is a gap here: this space is also the place of vulnerability and emotions. Most people in companies, have tendencies to switch off this space. It makes good experts, but it makes troubles when system is changing. Empathy and creativity are switched off too.

Sensing is not enough in transforming organizations. Leaders and decision makers need to go beyond the Ego system. Learning to connect to our feelings, see how thoughts and emotions make illusions, understand others and observing environment beyond our pattern is the third field of Mindfulness.

Walking from one ego to go through an ecosystem allow us to come in the last field. Social Awareness technologies offer the possibility to prototype and shape emerging future. Paying attention to falling trees is easy; paying attention to a growing forest is less easy and need some awareness technologies.
