Dr Andreas Heinecke, Dialogue in the Dark Founder

Andreas Heinecke, Founder and CEO of Dialogue Social Enterprise, developed the Dialogue in the Dark concept and put it into action almost 20 years ago. He became the first Ashoka Fellow in Western Europe and was nominated as Outstanding Social Entrepreneur by the Schwab Foundation in 2007. In 2009, Dialogue in the Dark and Dialogue in Silence business workshops were judged by the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) to be the Global Award Winner for the best innovative and out-of-comfort zone event. www.dialogue-se.com

 

François Martry, Founder of Chenelet

Fellow Ashoka, pioneer of social and ecological housing, he invented a valuing habitat for low-income populations, based on a network of construction companies working with people in professional insertion. François Marty’s idea is to build ecological houses as social housing, to create a network of professional insertion companies labeled “Chênelet”, whose empoyees are trained in this type of construction, and allow insertion through work for long-term unemployed, in a growing industry. www.chenelet.org
