Yossi Elran (Yossi.elran@weizmann.ac.il) heads the Technology in Education Unit and Distant Learning Activities at the Davidson Institute of Science Education, the educational wing of the  Weizmann Institute of Science. He earned his bachelors, masters and a Ph.D. from Bar Ilan University in Israel, and has conducted post-doctoral studies in theoretical chemical physics at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the University of Toronto, studying the mathematical description of quantum phenomena within the quantum-classical regime.
